Look like the company you're about to become.
Film, animation, 3D and the website it all lands on. Made in Mülheim for companies that have outgrown the look they've got.
The gap
You've built a business people trust. Your marketing doesn't show it.
Drive around Mülheim, Oberhausen, Essen. Plenty of firms here are very good at what they do and have a website out front that could belong to anybody.
The usual fix is an agency. They are slow and expensive, and they will not give you a straight number until you are too far in to walk away.
Our latest project
Dobby's Steakhouse, and thirty-three seconds of fire.
Play the film
Elvis cooks to order and delivers, anything from a few hours' notice to a booking made days ahead. The food does its own selling once it is on the table. Our problem was the part before that: a phone screen, no smell, no heat, and about as long as it takes to thumb past.
Thirty-three seconds, cut so that someone is hungry before they have read a word. Close enough in to hear the sear. Switch this page to German and the film switches with it.

The work
Everything we make, in about a minute.
Play the reel
Every frame in that reel came out of this studio. None of it is stock.
What we make
We only make three things.
Film that earns the call.
The 30-to-90-second commercial, which does the selling before anyone on your team has to. Longer brand films, if you have something worth ninety seconds of a stranger's attention. And series, for when one film was never going to be enough. All of it built once and delivered in German, English and French, not quoted three times.
Animation & 3D: show what a camera can't.
Some things have no camera angle. How a care service works week to week. What goes on inside a machine, or a contract, or a decision. We draw or model those instead, and the abstract thing becomes something a customer can point at.
The website they land on after.
The film earns the click. The website has to keep it. We design and build the page your customers land on, and we keep maintaining it afterwards, which is the part most people forget to quote for. You're reading one of ours.
The difference
The polish of a large production house, on a timeline you can plan a launch around.
Ask around and you get offered the same trade every time. The good studio needs until spring. The fast one sends back something you would not put your name on.
Most of a traditional schedule is not work, it is waiting for a room full of people to be free on the same day. We are small, and we automate the parts that deserve to be automated, so the concepting and iteration that used to fill a month happen in days.
You get a fixed price and a delivery date, both agreed before we start, neither of which moves afterwards.
Every idea and every frame is chosen and placed by a human who cares how it turns out. AI storyboards and builds backgrounds, which were never the creative work, and that is how something that used to take months now takes days. The tool is AI. The brain is ours. And fast, in our case, doesn't mean cheap or bad.

Process
How it goes, start to finish.
You message us.
WhatsApp or email, whichever you prefer. Tell us what you're making and who you're up against. If it isn't a job for us, we'll say so in that first reply and point you at someone it is a job for.
The blueprint.
The script, the look and the number, all agreed before a single frame is shot. You approve the direction, or you tell us what's wrong with it and we go again.
We build it.
We produce. You see it at agreed checkpoints, not at the end when it is too late to change anything. Then you get it, on the date we said.
“It was never about winning new customers, it was about how our company comes across. And for that, I'm incredibly happy. I'm thrilled.”Birgül Erdogan · Managing Director, Bery Alltagsbegleitung
“My God… what can I say. I have no words. Thank you, truly.”Axelle Beni · Founder, Môoh
“Very professional… it's very creative and captivating.”Elvis Fohtung · Owner, Dobby's Steakhouse
Before you ask
The questions we get every time.
What does it cost?
There is no price list here, because a 30-second spot and a three-minute brand film are not the same job. Book a call, tell us what you are making, and you get a fixed number. It is agreed before anything starts and it does not move afterwards.
What rights do I get to the finished film?
You get the finished film to use on your own channels: your website, your social accounts, trade fairs, internal use, with no time limit and no fee per use. Paid advertising and broadcast are quoted separately, because voice and music are licensed differently for those. Whatever applies to your project is written into your quote before you approve it.
How long does it take?
Days rather than months. We agree the exact delivery date before we start and it does not move. If we cannot hit a date you need, you will hear that in the first reply, not three weeks in.
Do you use AI?
Yes, and we would rather tell you than have you wonder. AI does the storyboards and builds backgrounds, the parts that were never the creative work. Every idea and every frame is still chosen and placed by a person. The AI decides nothing.
Can I get the film in more than one language?
German, English and French come out of one production instead of three separate quotes. The voice can be a human in a booth or AI, whichever fits the budget and where the film will run. That choice changes the price, so we talk it through before you decide.
Do you charge VAT?
No. Mungo Pictures is registered as a Kleinunternehmer under § 19 UStG, so there is no VAT on the invoice. The number you are quoted is the number you pay.
What does this website collect about me?
No cookies. No tracking in your browser, and no advertising networks. The fonts and the videos are served from our own server, so nothing loads from Google or anyone else. Visitor counts come from the server's own logs and are only ever aggregated. The one thing kept on your device is which language you chose. Everything is set out on the privacy page.
Where do you work?
We are in Mülheim an der Ruhr and we shoot across the Ruhr region. For animation, 3D and websites it makes no difference where you are, because none of that work needs us in the room.
Tell us what you're making.
Send one message and you'll get a straight answer about what your film would take and what it would cost. If it isn't for you, you've lost five minutes.
